How can I book you?
Please contact me (by email or phone) to discuss the service you require. I will then email you to confirm the booking, the work to be undertaken, the estimated cost and the agreed deadline. 

How do I send proofreading work to you?
You need to send all documents in Microsoft Word format.  I will use the 'track changes' and 'comment' functions to proofread the work. This means that you can accept/reject changes and maintain ownership of your document at all times.

Can you proofread paper documents instead of electronic documents? 
It is usually easier to work with electronic documents as it prevents the work being duplicated and can save time for both of us. However, I am flexible about how the proofreading is conducted, so get in touch to discuss your specific requirements.   

Do you use applications such as Dropbox for file sharing?
Yes, I use Dropbox to share files with clients. This service is particularly useful if the client is sharing large audio files for transcription. 

How do I pay for the work?
I will usually send you an invoice on completion of the work. All invoices must be paid within 7 days. Occasionally, I might request a deposit and then the final payment can be made on completion of the work.  The preferred method of payment is by bank transfer and all payment details will be provided on the invoice. 
 
How long will your service take?
It depends on what we agree when initially discussing the work. I pride myself on providing an efficient, confidential and flexible service.  All deadlines are negotiable and will be discussed with you prior to starting the work. 

I do not live in the UK, but can I still use your services?
Yes, definitely! Most of my services are provided remotely, so it does not matter where either of us are located.
