A little about me...
As an experienced educational support worker, academic tutor and researcher, I have a range of skills that can be used to support you!
I was recently awarded a doctorate in Applied Social Science from Lancaster University and I have a first class degree
in Deaf Studies from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). I'm certified to teach students in higher education and have a level 2 qualification in British Sign Language. In addition, I recently completed a TESOL Certificate so that I can teach English to speakers of other languages.
My experience includes tutoring students on a range of courses at secondary, undergraduate and post-graduate levels. I've also spent many years supporting d/Deaf and disabled students with their studies and assignments.
In addition, I enjoy using my expertise to provide bespoke support to students, academics and professionals by assisting with tasks such as proofreading, qualitative research and audio transcription.
My approach is always professional, flexible and honest. I'm passionate about learning, research and supporting others to achieve their goals.
